UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, May 15 — Ukrainian forces regained control of Odradne village and some territories near Dvoricahnske village on the Kupiansk axis, said the 16th Army Corps.

Odradne and Dvorichanske are villages in the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv oblast, east of Kharkiv. According to the DeepState, an OSINT war-monitoring group, Russian forces started to attack these villages in October 2025.

Ukrainian soldiers regained control over 22 square kilometers of the territory, liberating Odradne village and killing 56 Russians, said the corps.

The units of the 129th Heavy Mechanized Brigade conducted the assault and pushed the Russians back from their fortified positions, forest belts, and strongpoints, using assault groups, drone operators, and artillery.

In winter 2026, the Ukrainian military said that the Russians plan to expand the combat area near the Kharkiv border, including Dvorichanske village.
