UKRAINE, Feb 29 — Volunteers returned six more children and their families from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Dmytro Kuleba, former Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for Children’s Rights, informed about this.

Volunteers also returned 17-year-old Angelina with her grandmother and young nephews.

“When the bombing started, she [17-year-old Angelina] was sitting under the table and praying to God that nothing bad would happen. At her young age, when she could have dreamed of new life opportunities, she only dreams of one thing — that Russian troops would leave Ukraine,” Kuleba said.

Now, all families are in a safe place. Specialists are working with them.

In total, the volunteers returned 251 children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and Russia.

As reported, 11 children were recently returned to the government-controlled territory of Ukraine — six girls, including two twin two-year-old sisters, and five boys. Two children were met by an ambulance, as one of them was unable to move.

In total, according to the UN, the Russian aggression in Ukraine killed more than 10,000 civilians, including 522 children. The Russians injured more than 18,000 people, including 1,211 children.
