Day 489 of the Russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun. The adversary continued to shell Kharkiv Oblast with mortars, artillery, and air strikes.

Current situation in Ukraine

  • On June 26, the Russian occupiers launched a missile and air strike on the territory of Ukraine; they used 3x S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles.
  • The Ukrainian air defence forces and means intercepted 2x Kalibr cruise missiles and 7x Shahed combat UAVs.
  • In addition, the adversary attacked from the north with 4x unmanned aerial vehicles of an unspecified type (presumably, combat UAVs), all drones were intercepted.
  • The enemy also launched 45x air strikes and 38x MLRS attacks.
  • The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.
  • The adversary continues to focus its primary efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, and Maryinka axes, with 38x combat engagements occurring on June 26.

The adversary carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Udy, Chervona Zorya, Odnorobivka, Veterynarne, Hoptivka, Strilecha, Pylna, Kozacha Lopan, Morokhovets, Lukyantsi, Izbytske, Pletenivka, Ohirtseve, Volokhivka, Budarky, Zemlyanky, Chuhunivka, and Odradne in Kharkiv region.

Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensives towards Stelmakhivka. Krasne Pershe, Fyholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Masyutivka, Kyslivka, and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast came under artillery and mortar fire.

Kharkiv RMA

Russian occupants shelled frontline and border settlements of Kharkiv, Kupiansk and Chuhuiv districts of the region yesterday.

Over the past day, the enemy continued to shell the frontline and border settlements of Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Bohodukhiv and Chuhuiv districts of the region with artillery and mortars. In particular, at least 25 settlements were under hostile fire.

Mostly civilian infrastructure was hit by the Russian occupiers, with no casualties.

Demining in Kharkiv Oblast

Mine clearance works are ongoing. State Emergency Service pyrotechnics inspected more than 6 hectares of territory and defused 67 explosives.
