KHARKIV, UKRAINE, Mar 11 — On the night of March 11, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv three times with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), reported Volodymyr Tymoshko, the head of Kharkiv regional police.
He noted that at about 1:00 a.m., the Russian Federation attacked the Slobidskyi district of the city with Shahed drones near administrative buildings.
The Russian strikes caused a fire, which rescuers put out quickly. The attack damaged a multi-story building, administrative and residential buildings, and private cars.
At night, the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, noted that the Russian military damaged a civilian infrastructure facility in a residential area.
Tymoshko also noted that over the past day, the Russian military shelled Vovchansk and the village of Ohirtseve with airstrikes, multiple rocket launchers, artillery, mortars, and UAVs. The attacks destroyed and damaged private houses, garages, and outbuildings.
“Vovchansk. On March 10, at 11:30 a.m., the enemy dropped guided aerial bombs on the town. Private households were damaged, a residential building was on fire, and outbuildings were damaged. On March 11 at 2:00 a.m., as a result of the Russian shelling, a fire broke out in a 210 m² outbuilding. At 2:30 a.m., the Russian army shelled the town again. As a result of the shelling, a private household burned down,” the police head said.
The Russian army destroyed a private house, a shed, and a garage in the village of Ohirtseve.
