UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Mar 7 — In the morning, Russia attacked the civilian infrastructure in Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv with a ballistic Iskander-M missile. According to the local Prosecutor’s Office, the strike injured eight people and damaged one three-story, two nine-story buildings, and 30 houses around the impact site.
Gwara Media went there to document the consequences of the attack.
Department of municipal services under Kharkiv City Council added that the explosion blew out 470 windows in the flat and public facilities.
The missile hit near the dormitory, making it unlivable. People who resided there will be accommodated elsewhere.
The attack also triggered a massive fire that spread over 200 square meters, said Yevhen Vasylenko, the spokesman for the State Emergency Services in Kharkiv Oblast. The fire was localized and eventually put out.
Yesterday, Russians hit Kharkiv with a Shahed drone, injuring two people (Gwara has been to the impact site as well — here is the photo report).
