UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jun. 16 — On Jun. 15, Russian forces launched a missile at Dobrenka village in the Berestyn district of southern Kharkiv oblast, injuring eight people, including children aged 7 and 10 years old. The attack also damaged 10 houses and power networks, said the Kharkiv regional police.
Over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 11 settlements in the region with two missiles, four glide bombs, and 40 drones of different types, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the Kharkiv oblast.
In Kharkiv, Russians attacked the Shevchenkyvskyi district, hitting the territory of the municipal zoo. The attack killed and injured animals.
In the Izium district, a Russian drone hit Balakliia, damaging houses and injuring six people, including children aged 13 and four years old. The governor said that the attack caused a fire in four houses, a car, outbuildings, and a garage.
In the Kupiansk district, Russians attacked Shevchenkove settlement with drones, injuring two people and damaging houses and a shop. Also, Russians damaged storage buildings in Ploske village.
In the Bohodukhiv district, Russian forces launched two glide bombs at Sosnivka and Baranivka villages. They also attacked Bohodukhiv itself with a drone, injuring a man and a woman. In Odnorobivka, Zavadske, and Klynova-Novosilka villages, Russian drones hit houses and caused a fire.
In the Chuhuiv district, Russians attacked the Staryi Saltiv settlement, injuring a woman and damaging a house.
Also, in the Kharkiv district, Russians attacked houses and a furniture factory in the Derhachi community.
