Russian troops launched a missile attack on civilian buildings in Pervomaiskyi, Lozova district of Kharkiv region. The adversary hit a residential neighborhood, damaging a high-rise building and residents’ cars.
The victims are at the hospital. There is no information about the dead. Seven cars were damaged near the place of arrival, four of which burned down.
“Our investigators, forensic experts and explosives experts are working in the city to record the consequences of the hit. They are carefully collecting every piece of evidence of another war crime by the terrorist country. Criminal proceedings have been registered over violations of the laws and customs of war. I am confident that everyone will be punished for such inhuman war crimes,” commented Serhii Bolvinov, Head of the Investigation Department of the Kharkiv Regional Police.
According to updated data by Kharkiv RMA, 43 people have been wounded due to the attack on Pervomaiskyi, including 12 children. 5 people were treated on the spot. The condition of the victims is moderate to light.
“According to the investigation, on July 4, at about 13:30, the Russian military fired a missile at a residential neighborhood in Pervomaiskyi. According to preliminary data, it was an Iskander missile. The Russian munition hit near a multi-story building,” the Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office reported.
Lozova District Prosecutor’s Office of Kharkiv Region has launched a pre-trial investigation into violating the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
At that time, a funeral ceremony was held in the city center for soldier Oleh Fadeenko, call sign Malysh, who died in the battles for Bakhmut. He had been fighting to liberate the Kharkiv region from the full-scale invasion’s first days. Later, he participated in the battles for Bakhmut as a reconnaissance platoon commander in the 3rd Separate Special Forces Brigade and conducted many successful offensive and reconnaissance operations.
