The 461st day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. The adversary continues to shell Kharkiv Oblast with mortars, artillery, and air strikes.

  • Within a day, the enemy carried out 62 air strikes and fired 54 times from multiple launch rocket systems. As a result, civilian casualties, private houses and other infrastructure were damaged.
  • The likelihood of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains high.
  • The enemy continues to focus its primary efforts on attempts to occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions fully. Over the past day, defense forces repelled 27 enemy attacks.

Slobozhanshchyna axis

Over the last day, an air strike was launched on Milove, Kharkiv region. Russians fired mortar and artillery shells at the settlements of Udy, Strilecha, Hlyboke, Morokhovets, Ternova, Izbytske, Starytsia, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Pletenivka, Tykhy, Vovchanski Khutory, Mala Vovcha, Varvarivka, Budarky, Zemlianky, Chuhunivka in Kharkiv Oblast.

Kupiansk axis

The adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinity of Masiutivka and Krokhmalne. Kolodyazne, Kamianka, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Masiutivka, Petropavlivka, Kucherivka, Kyslivka, Hlushkivka, Berestove and Bohuslavka in Kharkiv region came under artillery and mortar fire by the Russian military.

Kharkiv RMA

  • Russian occupants fired at settlements in Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Chuhuiv and Izium districts of the region over the past day. They used missile weapons, artillery, mortars and aircraft.
  • According to the updated data, 9 civilians were wounded due to a rocket attack on the urban-type settlement of Kivsharivka in Kupyansk district. A dormitory building, 2 private houses and a gas pipeline were damaged in the village.
  • The shelling damaged 5 private houses, outbuildings and a power line. A 60-year-old woman was wounded at Hlushkivka, Kupyansk district.
  • A 66-year-old woman was wounded due to artillery shelling of Hlyboke village in Kupyansk district.
  • Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged at Bohuslavka, Izium district.
  • The shelling of the town of Vovchansk in Chuhuiv district damaged a grain elevator and granary and other civilian facilities. Residential buildings were destroyed and fires broke out. A woman of 36 years old was wounded.

State Emergency Service, Mine danger

As a result of numerous air and artillery strikes by the occupiers on the settlements of Kupyansk and Chuhuiv districts of Kharkiv region, 5 fires broke out.

Pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service seized and defused 58 pieces of explosive devices.
