KHARKIV OBLAST, JAN 15 — The Russian army has carried out airstrikes on the villages of Vesele and Berestove in the Kharkiv Oblast.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed about this in a morning report.
More than 110 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson, and Mykolaiv Oblasts came under artillery fire.
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi direction, in the border areas, the Russian military conducts intense sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to more dangerous directions and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod Oblast.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two Russian attacks near Synkivka in the Kharkiv Oblast.
Ivan Shevtsov, the head of the press service of the Stalevyi Kordon [“Steel Border“ is a unit of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine — ed.] assault brigade, said that Russian soldiers surrendered because of the cold and lack of heating.
