UKRAINE, Sep 17 —  In August, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznycia) infrastructure 46 times. The most damaged facilities are in the Kharkiv region, reported Ukrzaliznycia.

Russia continues to strike Ukraine’s infrastructure, targeting energy grids, water supply, residential buildings, and Ukrzaliznycia railways, severely disrupting civilian services and daily life.

The Russian attacks killed one employee of the Ukrzaliznycia and injured three others. Their families have been provided with the necessary assistance, including financial assistance.

Also, over the past month, Russia attacked energy facilities, power plants, and railway rolling stock.

As of January 2024, UA War Infographic reports that the damage caused by Russia to Ukraine’s economy since the beginning of the full-scale invasion is estimated at $155 billion.
