Kharkiv Received Help from Montenegro and France

Kharkiv children got presents from Montenegro, and a local utility company received a specialized vehicle from France.

Kharkiv children received gifts from Montenegro

Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Kharkiv Olha Oleksiienko met with children from big families. She handed over the gifts from herself and the families of Kharkiv`s sister city Cetinje in Montenegro, the Kharkiv City Council reported.

“Montenegro families collected the gifts with the wishes for peace and well-being. Stationery, toys, clothes, and other things were given to the children,” the message reads.

Kharkiv utility company received a car from France

The municipal non-commercial enterprise “City Auto Enterprise of Specialized Sanitary Transport” received a specialized vehicle from France.

The car for transporting people with disabilities was received from the France-Ukraine Association of Medical and Charitable Aid. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the organization has provided humanitarian aid to Ukrainian cities, including Kharkiv.

During the past year, the association delivered humanitarian aid from the French twin city of Lille to Kharkiv. Moreover, it provided an ambulance and a specialized vehicle for the transportation of the deceased and handed over medicines and medical items from the people of France.

The Kharkiv City Council notes that cooperation with the organization continues.

Earlier this week, Kharkiv rescuers received heavy equipment from Germany.
