On March 6, the enemy continued shelling the border settlements of Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Kupiansk districts.

Kharkiv RMA:

  • Kozacha Lopan, Vovchansk, Dvorichna and other settlements were under occupants’ fire.
  • The enemy fired from multiple rocket launchers at Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv district. At least 4 residential buildings, outbuildings and a garage were damaged. The local fire station was also damaged.
  • A school was damaged by shelling at Lyman village (Vovchansk community in Chuhuiv district). Residential buildings were ruined in Vovchansk.

State Emergency Service in Kharkiv Oblast:

  • Mine clearance works continue in the region. Over the past day, the SES pyrotechnics neutralized 96 explosive items.
  • Rescuers delivered 17 tons of drinking water to Izium and Korotych village of Pisochyn community.

On March 6, rescuers made 16 operational visits, including:

  • 5 – to eliminate fires, 2 of which were caused by enemy shelling;
  • 1 – to check the place where an enemy shell hit;
  • 1 – to conduct emergency rescue operations;
  • 7 – to provide assistance to the population, police and public utilities;
  • 2 – other missions.

Head of Derhachi Town Military Administration:

The shelling damaged the building of a local lyceum, damaged up to 10 private houses, and cut off gas and electricity in different parts of Kozacha Lopan village. According to preliminary information, no one was injured or killed.
