“The Maternity Hospital on Wheels” was handed over to Izium by partners from the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine.
The heating will be turned on according to the weather conditions
According to the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (RMA) Oleh Syneyhubov, the decision to start the heating season will be made after three days on which the average daily air temperature reaches +8°C or lower.
“I have signed the order. Firstly, the heating will be supplied to the health care institutions and institutions of social protection, if there are people who permanently stay there. The heating will also be provided in the social institutions where temporarily displaced persons live. Despite the risks, the utility service workers are doing everything possible to ensure that the residents of Kharkiv Oblast stay warm this year,” wrote Syneyhubov on Telegram.
Volunteers invited to restore Kharkiv Oblast
According to Suspilne Media outlet, the volunteers invite the citizens of Kharkiv Oblast to join the “Build Ukraine Together” initiative.

Kharkiv Oblast teachers will receive laptops from UNESCO
The teachers of the schools most affected by the military aggression of Russia in Kharkiv Oblast will receive about 6,000 laptops, reported the RMA. It’s crucial as the educational process in Kharkiv Oblast has started in an online format.
According to the Head of the Department of Science and Education of the Kharkiv RMA Oleksiy Lytvynov, more than 30,000 laptops are needed to equip all teachers.
“The UNESCO project allocated 5,895 laptops. They are necessary for teachers, and I am sure that a certain amount of laptops will also reach students from the de-occupied territories. It’s especially important as I’m sure the children who left Kharkiv Oblast less likely face such problems, while the children of the internally displaced persons and those who remained under the occupation have a much more difficult situation,” emphasized Lytvynov.
