Missile attack on the regional state administration

On March 1, 2022, at about 8 a.m., the Russian military hit the administration building with two missiles. They were fired from Belgorod, from a Tupolev Tu-22 strategic supersonic missile aircraft, which fired 16 times on Kharkiv. Thirty-one people died in the collapsed building. Among them were soldiers, volunteers, and members of the territorial defense forces.

Then on August 28, 2022, the Russian army shelled the site again, this time with S-300 missiles from the Belgorod region. One missile caused a crater in the square in front of the Regional State Administration, and the second destroyed a three-story building on the opposite side of the building. No casualties were reported.
