Russia keeps conducting assaults in the Kupiansk direction and constantly recovers its resources.

The Russian army tried to seize Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi in Kharkiv Oblast because that is a strategically important railway junction on the Kupiansk axis. The commander of an intelligence unit of the Land Forces of the AFU, Denys Yaroslavkiy, informed about this.

“The adversary is trying to assault us daily. He tries to capture Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi. [That town] is really a strategic railway junction they’re trying to grasp; they’re hitting the crossing points and all [strategic] objects that can cut us off from Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi. Yes, they’re really trying to surround Kupiansk. It’s their objective. We understand that objective,” Yaroslavskyi said.

Also, according to him, Russian troops had significant losses, but they recovered fast because of additional forces relocation. That is why the pressure on this frontline section doesn’t lower.
