UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct 23 — During the day, the Russian army attacked eight settlements in the Kharkiv region, injuring four people and killing one civilian, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

The Russian drone strike killed a 54-year-old man in the village of Kucherivka, Kupiansk district. In addition, the shelling in Kupiansk injured a 65-year-old woman.

In addition, on the same day, the Russians injured two women and one man in the village of Lisne, Mala Danylivka community. They also damaged five houses and an outbuilding in the village.

In five other settlements of the region, no one was injured by Russian shelling, but there was damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and other civilian objects. The shelling damaged a car in the village of Borova.

In the village of Novoplatonivka in the Borova community, the Russian shelling destroyed a house and a garage. In the village of Lisna Stinka, the Russians damaged ten houses and one car. In addition, in the village of Cherkaska Lozova, window glazing in two houses was damaged.

There were two glide bomb (KAB) hits in the Kyivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts of Kharkiv. Both strikes hit an industrial area, but the blast wave damaged apartment buildings and homes.
