Ukrainians trust Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the most—92% of them trust in what he’s doing.

Among all responders to the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology poll, 60% trust Kyrylo Budanov, the chief of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, though 18% don’t know who he is. 33% of Ukrainians trust Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander of the Ground Forces of the AFU, and 48% don’t know who he is.

Among those who know these commanders, 94% of Ukrainians trust Zaluzhnyi, 73% trust Budanov, and 63% trust Syrskyi. At the same time, among those who know who the commanders are, 5% of Ukrainians don’t trust Zaluzhnyi, 24% don’t trust Budanov, and 29% Syrskyi. 

Also, 72% of Ukrainians would negatively perceive Valeriy Zaluzhnyi’s resignation if there was one. Only 2% of respondents would positively perceive such an event. Another 21% would neutrally think of Zaluzhnyi’s resignation, and 5% couldn’t decide on an opinion on that potentiality.
