UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, July 25 — The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) has identified the Russians involved in the massive Iskander missile attacks on the territory of the Kharkiv and Sumy regions, reported DIU.

Russia attacks Kharkiv and the surrounding region often because of its proximity to the border and the front line, especially so since May 2024, when Moscow’s new ground offensive from the north started.

Ukraine’s main intelligence agency reported that 30 command staff members of the 112th Missile Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces participated in the attack. The Russians used Iskander tactical missile systems against Ukrainian civilians.

According to them, the Iskander missile system strikes with ballistic and cruise missiles at more than 310 miles.

The DIU added that the suspects from the 112th Missile Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces are located in the city of Shuya, Ivanovo Oblast, Russia.

Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reports that on July 24 Russia attacked Kharkiv and Lozova, a city in Kharkiv Oblast, killing three people and injuring at least 13.

Russia’s attack on industrial objects in the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv damaged enterprise facilities and blew out windows in nearby high-rise residential buildings.

Russia also attacked the landscape park in the Kharkiv suburbs and damaged an office building of the Geneva NGO, FSD, that specializes in demining.
