The Magura V5 drone was presented at the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2023) in Turkey, Industrial Portal reported.

It was developed in Ukraine, is a new generation of multi-purpose unmanned surface ship. It can perform reconnaissance and patrol missions, search and rescue, mine countermeasures, maritime security and other combat missions.

“This affordable solution can be easily launched from any remote location. The V5’s unmanned operation minimizes the need for human resources to complete missions, reducing potential fatalities while operating in harsh environments,” the developers comment.

The hydrodynamic body of the V5 allows the drone to move covertly with flexibility. It can be quickly launched from any remote location.

  • Height above waterline: 500 mm;
  • Cruising speed: 22 knots;
  • Top speed: 42 knots;
  • Range: 450 nautical miles (approximately 833 km);
  • Payload: 320 kg;
  • Communication: mesh radio with an airborne repeater or satellite communication.
