UKRAINE, Apr 05 — The South Korean government has provided Ukraine with 70 more ambulances for emergency medical care, reported the press service of the Ministry of Health.
“The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has received another 70 ambulances from the Korean government to provide emergency medical care during the war. Earlier, 30 ambulances had already been delivered to Ukraine,” the press service said.
Specialists will use the vehicles to assist patients who need additional life-sustaining measures during transportation to and between hospitals. The ambulances have the necessary equipment to provide life-saving assistance to patients during medical transportation.
According to the service, the Russian Federation destroyed, damaged, or seized more than 500 ambulances during the war.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, the Russian army damaged 1,523 medical facilities and destroyed 195 more. Five hundred-two medical facilities have been fully restored, and another 362 partially restored.
