UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct 2 — In the morning, Russian troops dropped a FAB-250 UMPK glide bomb on the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv. There were no casualties in the attack, but about 80 garages were damaged, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

The Russians also dropped glide bombs (KABs) on Derhachi, injuring five people, including a 14-year-old boy.

In addition, one of the Russian KABs hit Cherkaska Lozova, causing the grass to catch fire with no casualties.

On October 1, Mayor Ihor Terekhov announced that in September, Russians carried out a record number of airstrikes on Kharkiv since the beginning of 2023. There were 53 attacks on the city during the month. 188 people have been affected by Russian attacks in Kharkiv, including 19 children.
