UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug 14— Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russians have destroyed or damaged 787 educational institutions in the Kharkiv region, reported UNITED24 Media, citing the data from the Ministry of Education.

In total, during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russians destroyed or damaged more than 3,000 educational institutions of various types.

General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine provides a different account of educational institutions affected by the Russian aggression. According to them, Moscow’s army has damaged 587 educational institutions in the Kharkiv Oblast and destroyed 64 of them since the beginning of the full-scale war.

The Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Education use different formats for recording damaged and destroyed buildings. This is why the data is different. The Prosecutor General’s Office lists buildings as damaged when the damage is significant, while the Ministry of Education lists them even in case of minimal damage.

Russian army uses different types of weapons to destroy educational institutions in Ukraine, including ground, air, and sea-launched cruise missiles, including Iskander-K, Iskander-M, Kalibr, Kh-22, Kh-69, and othes.

Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast, reported that on August 1, the Russian army dropped a glide bomb (KAB) on an educational institution in Kharkiv, injuring 1 person.

Viktor Kovalenko, the head of the Zolochiv Military Administration, told Gwara Media that on August 2, Russians attacked a kindergarten in Zolochiv from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
