UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Sep 3 —  The Russian army attacked Makarove village in Zolochiv district, Kharkiv region, killing a 38-year-old woman, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

Also, the attack injured a 59-year-old man and damaged three houses, outbuildings, and power lines.

Oleh Syniehubov reported that over the past day, the Russians shelled Kupiansk from multiple rocket launchers, killing a 78-year-old woman.
