KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar 7 — The Russian military damaged a building of the Kharkivoblenergo company [a Ukrainian energy supply company — ed.] in one of the settlements of the Kharkiv Oblast. No employees were injured, reported the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine also noted that the Russian army damaged power grids in two more settlements of the oblast. Power engineers restored electricity supply to more than 370 subscribers in the oblast.
However, as of today, 15.4 thousand power metering points in 63 settlements of the Kharkiv Oblast remain without electricity because of the destruction of energy infrastructure facilities due to Russian shelling and combat engagements.
About 22 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast came under Russian artillery and mortar fire over the past day, including Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Ambarne, Zapadne, Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Kotliarivka. The Russians hit the towns of Zarichne, Nesterne, Krasnyi Yar, Chorne, Kozacha Lopan, and Tabaivka with airstrikes.
Power engineers restored the electricity supply in Lyptsi after the Russian shelling on March 4. The Russian shelling cut off the power supply to 2,000 consumers in the village. Power engineers managed to restore the power grid quickly.
