UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar 18 — At around 7 a.m. on March 18, the Russian troops shelled Novoosynove village of the Kurylivka community in the Kupiansk district with artillery, reported the press service of the State Emergency Service.

“The village is located near the frontline, so it is currently in the area of impact of Russian cannon and rocket artillery. The shell hit the boiler room located next to the church building. As a result of the explosion, the boiler room caught fire. The woodpile also caught fire,” reported the SES press service.

The SES noted that the fire spread throughout 60 m2. In addition, the explosions damaged the Village Council building and two private houses.

At about 7 a.m. on March 18, the Russian military injured a 62-year-old man in Novooosynove village, Kupiansk district, he received medical assistance. In total, the Russian shelling of the Kharkiv Oblast injured six people over the past day.

In addition, the Russian army hit Vovchansk, Hoptivka, and Basove in the Kharkiv Oblast with airstrikes over the past day.

The Russian army fired mortars and artillery at more than 140 settlements in the Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts.
