UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct 1 — In the morning of September 30, a Russian FPV drone hit a public transport stop in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, killing an 82-year-old man, reported the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.
The same morning, another Russian FPV drone hit a civilian car, injuring a 58-year-old driver. He is now in the hospital.
On September 29, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that over the past week, the Russian army attacked Ukraine 1,240 times. The Russians have used nearly 900 aerial bombs, more than 300 Shahed drones, and more than 40 missiles.
