UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug 7 — On the evening of August 6, a Russian drone hit a house in Kozacha Lopan, injuring a 62-year-old civilian man, reported the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.
“The man was hospitalized. Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged,” the Prosecutor’s Office reported.
Serhii Bolvinov, head of the investigation department of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, reported that the Russian army started launching massive drone attacks on civilians.
On July 30, the Russians attacked a river crossing in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, injuring a 71-year-old man. Нe sustained an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound.
