KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar 8 — Between 10:14 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on March 7, the Russian troops shelled Kupiansk, Kharkiv Oblast. They killed a 64-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man, reported the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
The Russian attack damaged private houses and cars. Rescuers pulled a 36-year-old man from the rubble.
On the morning of March 7, the Russian military shelled the border town of Vovchansk in the Kharkiv Oblast with a guided aerial bomb. The shelling damaged at least 12 private residential buildings. The bomb hit one of the houses, killing a 40-year-old woman. Rescuers recovered her body while removing the rubble. The Russian attack injured a 67-year-old woman in another private house. Structural elements of the house caught fire.
Basove of the Bohodukhiv district also came under Russian fire. This shelling damaged a warehouse building of a village enterprise, a club building, a library building, and a power line. There were no casualties.
On the night of March 8, the Russian troops attacked Chuhuiv with S-300 missiles. The missile hit the ground next to a house, smashing windows. The Russian missile attack damaged the facade of a shopping mall, a bank, a shop, a hotel, and 13 cars. The attack injured seven civilians: four men, a 41-year-old woman, a 16-year-old boy, and a three-year-old girl.
In total, about 18 localities in the Kharkiv Oblast came under enemy artillery and mortar fire over the past day: Tabaivka, Holubivka, Kozacha Lopan, Vovchansk, Krasne, Neskuchn, and others. The Russian Federation hit Vovchansk, Ivanivka, and Stepova Novoselivka with airstrikes.
