Apr. 3 — In March 2026, Russian forces lost over 35,000 soldiers, which is their heaviest personnel losses since the start of the Russian full-scale invasion in 2022, said the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to Zelenskyy, during this period, Ukrainian drones killed or heavily injured 33,988 Russian soldiers, and other Ukrainian attacks killed 1,363 Russians. Ukraine confirmed these results with the help of video recordings.
