UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar 27 — Pyrotechnics found the remains of three people in the Chuhuiv district between the villages of Hrakove and Mospanove.

They found the remains during the demining of the territories, reported the Main Department of the National Police in the Kharkiv Oblast.

“Preliminarily, the crime occurred in 2022 during the occupation of the settlement. A man, his wife, and their son were traveling by car and hit an explosive device. They died on the site from their injuries,” reported the National Police.

A forensic medical examination has been ordered to identify the victims and the causes of their deaths. DNA samples were taken from a relative of the victims.

About the occupation of Hrakove and Mospanove

The village of Hrakove was occupied from February 25 to September 7, 2022. The Russians set up their positions there. After the liberation of the village, the Ukrainian military and law enforcement officers found the bodies of people killed during the occupation.

The village of Mospanove was occupied for several days in 2022, and then the Ukrainian military liberated it. However, Mospanove was under constant shelling until the counteroffensive in the Kharkiv Oblast in September 2022.
