KHARKIV OBLAST, Feb 14 — The police took the dog out of Vovchansk and contacted veterinarians and animal rights activists, the Interior Ministry’s press service said.

“Law enforcement officers provided emergency assistance to the injured woman, evacuated her to the hospital, and documented the consequences of the shelling. At that time, they noticed a dog that had lost a leg,” the statement said.

What is known about the shelling of Vovchansk

At around 11 a.m., the Russian troops hit the central part of Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district, with airstrikes. The Russian army fired at least ten times. The attack killed one woman and injured another woman.
