UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Sep 10 — In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian army lost 121 people over the past day, reported the “Kharkiv” group of forces.
Russia started its new offensive north and northeast in the Kharkiv region in May, but Ukrainian troops have stabilized the frontline in this section since. Now, heavy battles are ongoing in and around Vovchansk (three miles from the border, 46 miles away from Kharkiv) and near Lyptsi (six miles from the border, 12 miles from Kharkiv.)
“Kharkiv” reports that, in the area of Hlyboke, Russians are moving personnel to evacuate and provide logistical support at the front lines. Troops went through rotation near Tykhe as well, where the Russian army was trying to replenish its losses.
In Vovchansk, the Russian army continues assaults near the district with high-rise buildings. The Russians also used a TOS-1A flamethrower system in the city.
Over the past day, Russia conducted two airstrikes using two glide bombs (KABs) and two unguided missiles in the Kharkiv direction. They also carried out 37 kamikaze drone strikes and fired 422 times at the positions of the Defense Forces.
Over the last day, Russians lost 66 units of weapons and military equipment in the Kharkiv direction, including two armored combat vehicles, six artillery systems, 11 vehicles, three units of special equipment, 44 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), 67 shelters for personnel and 1 UAV launch pad.
