Kharkiv Oblast Under Attack: Russian Army Strikes Two Villages of Region from Aviation

Day 488 of the Russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun. The adversary continues to shell Kharkiv Oblast with mortars, artillery, and air strikes.

Current situation in Ukraine

• Russian terrorists launched another missile and air strike against Ukraine.
• The adversary fired three Kalibr cruise missiles from a submarine in the Black Sea and eight Iranian-made Shahed attack drones from the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov.
• The air defence forces of the South Air Command destroyed two Kalibr cruise missiles and 7 Shahed attack UAVs.
• In addition, the enemy attacked from the north with four unmanned aerial vehicles of an unspecified type (presumably strike drones). All the drones were destroyed in the area of responsibility of the Center Air Command.
• The probability of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains high.
• Russian army continues to focus its primary efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut and Maryinka directions, and heavy fighting continues. Over 36 combat engagements took place over the last day.

Slobozhanshchyna axis

The adversary launched air strike in the areas of Zelene in Kharkiv region. It carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Udy, Veterynarne, Hraniv, Kozacha Lopan, Krasne, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Gatyshche, Vovchansk, Bochkove, Okhrymivka, Mykolaivka, Nesterne, Budarky, Kruhle, Zemlianky, Vilkhuvatka, Chuhunivka, Hryhorivka and Odradne in Kharkiv region.

Kupiansk axis

The adversary launched air strikes in the areas of Kyslivka and Kotlyarivka in Kharkiv region. Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area west of Kryvoshiyivka, Luhansk region. Odradne, Kolodyazne, Krasne Pershe, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Masiutivka, Kyslivka and Berestove in Kharkiv region came under artillery and mortar fire.

Kharkiv RMA

Russian invaders shelled localities in Kharkiv, Kupiansk and Chuhuiv districts of the region.

Two residential buildings were damaged in Kolisnykivka village, while private house was destroyed in Kupyansk. There were no casualties.

Demining in Kharkiv Oblast

Pyrotechnic teams of the State Emergency Service defused 19 explosives.

War crimes in the region

National Police of Ukraine in Kharkiv region registered 24 war crimes under Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war).
