One civilian was killed, and three were injured by shelling of Kharkiv Oblast settlements on July 20-21.
- A 60-year-old man died as a result of shelling from a tank in the village of Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv district. A private house and garage were damaged.
- A 56-year-old woman received minor injuries in Novoosynove, Kupiansk district. A private house was damaged.
- At least three private residential buildings and commercial buildings were damaged in Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district.
- Seven private houses were damaged by shelling in Kupiansk.
- An apartment building was damaged by artillery shelling in Petrivka, Bohodukhiv district. Two civilian men aged 69 and 52 were injured.
- A civilian was injured by an unknown explosive object in Verkhnyi Bairak in Izium district.
During the day, the Russian army shelled at least 15 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled Russian attacks southwest of Masiutivka in Kharkiv Oblast.
