During the day, 24 people were evacuated from the districts of Kharkiv Oblast that are constantly under fire, reported by Kharkiv RMA head Oleh Syniehubov in his morning briefing.
“The evacuated people got humanitarian aid. Those who needed it are provided with housing,” the governor added.
Russian troops shelled 20 towns and villages, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff.
Slobozhansky direction: Strilecha, Krasne, Morokhovets, Ogirtseve, Mala Vovcha, Milove, Obukhivka, Novomlynsk, Kutkivka and Shevchenkove.
In the Kupiansk sector, the following areas came under artillery fire: Dvorichna, Hryanikivka, Krokhmalne. The Russian army unsuccessfully tried to attack in the area of Hryanikivka.
Humanitarian demining of the region is also underway. Over the past day, the State Emergency Service units defused 56 explosive devices.
