UKRAINE, Dec 16 – Today, the Italian government has approved the tenth package of military aid for Ukraine, Ukrinform reported, citing the Italian news agency ANSA.
Since the start of the full-scale war in February 2022, Italy has provided substantial support to Ukraine, contributing around €1 billion in military aid, which includes weapons systems, ammunition, and vehicles. Italy has also allocated funds for humanitarian and financial assistance to Ukraine, bringing its total commitments to approximately €1.6 billion.
The list of supplies for Kyiv is confidential, as it was in previous cases with military aid packages.
On November 10, French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu said in an interview with a local newspaper that France is going to transfer another batch of SCALP cruise missiles to Ukraine.
On November 11, European Union member states announced that Ukraine will receive 1.5 million shells from the EU by the end of 2024.
