UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct 7 — Over the past day, the Russian army attacked two cities, six villages, and two other settlements in the Kharkiv region. Two settlements came under fire twice, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

Two Russians shelling of Kupiansk injured three men aged 40, 54, and 68. The attack caused the roof of a house over an area of 150 m2 to catch fire.

The Russians also shelled the village of Cherkaski Tyshky twice, causing grass and forest to catch fire on a total area of 5.5 hectares.

In Kharkiv, a coniferous forest, branches, and trees were burning over one hectare due to shelling at night. In Mala Danylivka village, there was a hit in an open area.

The Russian attacks killed a 57-year-old man in Pershotravneve of the Borova community and injured a 73-year-old woman in Mytrofanivka.

In Cherkaska Lozova, the Russians injured a 51-year-old woman, a 50-year-old man, and a 16-year-old boy. The shelling damaged one house and partially damaged two other houses. In Zolochiv, a drone attack damaged a civilian car.
