UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, June 20 — Russian attacks killed one person and injured five other civilians in the Kharkiv region over the past day, reported Oleh Syniehubov, Kharkiv Oblast Governor.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and airstrikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

On June 19, the Russian army dropped a gliding aerial bomb (KAB) on the territory of two recreation camps in Kharkiv, injuring a woman. The Russian bomb attack also damaged a private house and a car, Syniehubov said.

On the same day, the Russian troops dropped a glide bomb on a house in the village of Vilkhivka, Kharkiv region. The strike killed a 49-year-old woman and injured a 60-year-old man. The Russian guided bomb attack also damaged other buildings in the village of Vilkhivka.

The governor reported that the Russian shelling injured a woman and a man in Novoosynove village of the Kupiansk district. The shelling damaged a car and 10 houses. 

In addition, the Russian army hit the village of Kruhliakivka, Kupiansk district, with an airstrike, injuring a man.

The Russian drone strike damaged a private house in Khotimlia village, Chuhuiv district, and eight residential buildings in Zahryzove village, Izium district.
