UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, June 27 — On the afternoon of June 26, Russian troops hit Derhachi in the Kharkiv region with airstrikes, damaging about 65 houses, outbuildings, a shopping center, and cars. The attack injured 12 people, reported Oleh Syniehubov, Kharkiv Oblast Governor.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and airstrikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

“Five people are in the hospital, and seven have an acute stress reaction (including three children). They refused hospitalization,” Syniehubov wrote.

In addition, the Russians dropped a glide bomb (KAB) on Kharkiv. The bomb hit a civilian building. There were no casualties. The Russian KAB attack in the village of Male Vesele, Lyptsi community, injured a man. He is in the hospital.

Russians also shelled Kupiansk during the day. The attack damaged a house and outbuildings. In Petropavlivka, Kupiansk district, the Russian army dropped two KABs on an administrative building. There were no casualties.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his evening address on June 22 that since the beginning of June, Russia has dropped more than 2,400 glide bombs on Ukraine, hitting the Kharkiv region with about 700 of them.
