UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Dec 30 — Russians injured three people while shelling two settlements in Kharkiv Oblast, reports Oleh Syniehubov, Kharkiv Oblast governor, adding that the injured have been hospitalized.

The Russian army has often been attacking Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city, since the start of the full-scale invasion — the city is close to the border and the frontline. Russians use various weapons like glide bombs, strike drones, and missiles to target civilian and critical infrastructure there.

Russian shelling in Zahryzove of Borova community injured a man, 63, and a woman, 65, and their attack on Petropavlivka of Kupiansk community injured a 40-year-old man.

During the night of December 30, Russia attacked another three settlements of the region with Shahed drones. In Taranivka village of the Zmiiv community, a drone hit an outbuilding on the territory of a civilian household. In Luibotyn, the debris from Shahed fell down in the open area around a windbreak, and in the Pechenihy community, the drone hit near a highway. No injuries have been reported from these attacks.

As of 8 a.m. today, nine combat clashes occurred on the frontline in Kharkiv oblast. The Ukrainian army fought off all Russian attacks north and east of the region, the General Staff reported.
