UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, July 18 — The Russian army dropped a glide bomb (KAB) on Hlushkivka, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, killing a 60-year-old woman, injuring men aged 69 and 80, reported Oleh Syniehubov, Kharkiv Oblast Governor.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and airstrikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

Syniehubov said that the Russian bomb attack caused a house to catch fire and damaged others.

In addition, Russians are actively attacking the Kharkiv region from drones. In Petropavlivka, Kupiansk district, they dropped a munition from a drone, injuring a civilian woman. In Kupiansk, the Russian FPV drone strike damaged a car.

On the evening of July 17, Kupiansk came under Russian artillery shelling. The attack damaged a police car. After the shelling, grass was burning in the city in an area of 200 m2.
