KHARKIV OBLAST, Feb 27 — Over the past week, specialists of Gazmerezha [the national gas distribution operator — ed.] have localized the consequences of 10 hits on the gas infrastructure in four communities of the Kharkiv Oblast, reported in the press service of the company.
“Medium- and low-pressure gas pipelines and a gas control point came under enemy fire in the Derhachi, Kupiansk, and Lyptsi communities. In all cases, the gas distribution system was repaired without interrupting gas supply to consumers,” the statement said.
The shelling also damaged gas pipelines in apartment buildings and private homes in the Zolochiv and Kupiansk communities.
Repairs to the gas pipelines allowed restoring gas supply to more than 360 homes.
As reported, the Russian shelling on February 25 damaged an overhead line in Kharkiv Oblast. The attack left two power substations supplying household consumers without electricity.
