On November 16, a car exploded in the Russian city of Belgorod. It was a vehicle carrying one of the heads of the Russian occupation administration of Kharkiv region, Oleksandr Slisarenko, who is suspected of treason. He died from his injuries.

This was reported to Gwara Media by sources in law enforcement agencies. As noted, the Security Service of Ukraine may be involved in the liquidation of the suspect.

According to the sources, Slisarenko was suspected of high treason for collaborating with the Russian occupiers in the Kharkiv region. He worked in Ukraine’s internal affairs agencies.

In 2014, he participated in the Kharkiv Anti-Maidan, and in 2021-2022, he fought for the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic as part of the Rys special forces. In the summer of 2022, he became the deputy head of the occupation administration of the Kharkiv region for internal policy.
