UKRAINE, Dec 2 – In November, the Russian army lost 45,720 troops, a record number of Russian losses in a month. This number is equal to more than three motorized rifle divisions of the Russian army’s ground forces, the Defense Ministry of Ukraine reported.
In total, during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia lost about 742,130 troops, according to the Ministry.
Also, Russian losses of tanks and personnel within a day were record-breaking since the beginning of the full-scale war, reports the MoD.
In one day in November, the Russian army lost 2,030 people and 307 tanks (almost ten battalions). The estimated cost of these lost tanks is $450 million.
In addition, during the month, the Russians lost 889 armored combat vehicles (the equivalent of armored vehicles needed for four motorized infantry divisions) and 884 artillery units (that could be used by 49 artillery divisions). The total cost of these losses is about $1.2 billion.
According to the ministry, the estimated cost of Russian losses in November is more than $3 billion.
