On Oct. 18, the Ukrainian government allocated $8 million from the reserve fund of the state budget to eliminate the consequences of hostilities and restore the infrastructure of settlements in Kharkiv Oblast.

This is reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

“Since the beginning of Russia`s military aggression against Ukraine, more than 11,400 infrastructure objects have been damaged or destroyed in Kharkiv Oblast. Every day, the enemy continues cynically shelling residential buildings, hospitals, and critical infrastructure facilities. But Kharkiv Oblast is holding the line, and today the Government has allocated an additional UAH 300 million to support the communities of the region, which will go to restore the proper living conditions for the people,” said Oleksiy Chernyshov, Minister of Communities and Territories Development.

The funds will go to:

  • housing and social infrastructure repairs;
  • heat, gas, water supply, and drainage networks and systems;
  • heating;
  • electrical networks restoration.
