In total, 248 generators were handed over to Kharkiv Oblast, 89 of which will be provided to medical institutions, Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (RMA) reported.
The rest of the equipment is planned to be used for Invincibility Points deployment and other community needs.
“Given that the emergency service is located in 77 places in Kharkiv Oblast, of course, 15 powerful 6.5 kW generators are significant support. This is how we practically cover our needs,” added Viktor Zabashta, director of the Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine.
New devices have already been sent to the Kharkiv Oblast districts. In particular, 16 generators were received by the Bohodukhiv district, 10 by the Lozova and 10 by the Chuhuiv district, 13 by the Kharkiv district, two by Izium, and two by the Kupiansk districts.
Moreover, five generators will be handed over to the Health Care Department and one will be transferred to the regional children’s clinical hospital of infectious diseases.
According to the head of Kharkiv RMA Oleh Syniehubov, the generators were handed over to Kharkiv Oblast by the United Arab Emirates.
Earlier, as part of the “Light and Heat for Ukraine” project and with the participation of the Deputy Chief of Mission of the French embassy in Ukraine Benjamin Roehrig, Kharkiv Oblast received 188 energy generators from France.
