UKRAINE, Nov 19 –  For 2025, the state budget allocated $18 billion for domestic orders of drones, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview.

Drones of various types became essential for gathering intelligence and tracking Russian movements—they help increase battlefield awareness and carry out air strikes with high precision.

Zelenskyy added that Ukraine also receives guaranteed financial support from international partners.

“The Ukrainian army is probably one of the most powerful in the world today. Of course, since the beginning of the war, we have been supplied with various types of weapons from our partners. But for almost three years, changes in the private and public sectors have led to the fact that we are definitely the most technologically advanced in Europe,” Zelenskyy said.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine has not yet achieved maximum results in producing drones and electronic warfare systems, but significant progress is already visible. In particular, new missiles and naval drones effectively destroy the facilities of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
