UKRAINE, Sep 12 — The World Health Organization provided Ukraine with the ambulances with the support of the German government and the USAID Foundation, reported the Health Ministry.
Since the start of the Russian full-scale invasion, many countries have provided Ukraine with ambulances and other vehicles to support the country’s healthcare efforts.
Health Ministry reported that the World Health Organization provided Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Sumy regions, and others with ambulances.
On August 24, the American firefighters, at the initiative of Albuquerque Mayor Timothy Keller, handed over an operational vehicle to Kharkiv.
According to Ukraine’s government official data , since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has damaged 1,646 medical facilities and destroyed another 215. Also, Russian troops have damaged 198 ambulances, destroyed 261, and captured 125.
