UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, May 20 — Soldiers of the 13th brigade of the National Guard, “Khartia,” successfully evacuated an injured teammate on the ground robot, traversing 7.4 miles (12 kilometers) through the battlefield, “Khartia” reported, publishing a video on their YouTube channel.
“Khartia” soldier that required help was put on the ground robotized complex and sent to the evacuation group. From there, he was transported to the doctors. The movement of the complex was controlled through the drone “watching” from above.
This operation involving team operating ground robotized complex (GRC) and support battalion was conducted in the northern parts of the Kharkiv region, within the section of the frontline under the “Khartia” area of responsibility.
Russia has been ramping up its assaults in the north and east of the Kharkiv Oblast, though the fighting there is not as intense as in the Pokrovsk direction. Up to 4,000 people living in the frontline communities there currently in need of evacuation.
