“Ukraine: History, Culture, and Identities” course was honored by the University of Washington.

The course is a short introductory course on the history, culture, and society of Ukraine from the Middle Ages to the present. It not only provides basic knowledge of Ukraine’s history and culture but also shows Ukraine’s influence on European and world history.

In addition to video lectures, the course contains additional sources: texts, videos, and online resources that will allow you to deepen your knowledge of Ukraine.

The course is free of charge. The language is English.

This introductory course will help you explore the history, culture, and society of the people of Ukraine from the Middle Ages to the present. It has been developed by the Ukrainian Institute, EdEra educational studio, and the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in cooperation with the University of Washington.
